We finally got the call this afternoon that we have a court date. Hurray!!
We leave the U.S. on January 22nd, spend a couple days in Moscow getting our medical exams done, then travel on to Krasnoyarsk. We have court January 29th, then we should get to pick up Dasha on February 13th and travel to Moscow on Feb.14th. We arrive back home February 20th.
We have been busy tonight booking flights and filling out visa applications and trying to figure out what to pack (the temperature was -33 degrees today, yikes).
Please keep us in your prayers as we travel and start this new part of our lives!

Oh, Susan! Such GREAT news!!! I know how excited you are! I will be praying for a safe and uneventful(except the good stuff)trip for you, Chris and Dasha. Woo Hoo! The Banchero family instead of the Banchero couple! LOL

Yeah!!! I can hear the Hallelujah chourus ringing loud and clear as we praise God for bringing you through the valley of waiting. Praying for His covering over you as you pack and prepare to bring home your daughter- a prayer for just enough- that you bring just what you need, and aren't bogged down with what you don't need. What a Valentine's gift from God. Wouldn't you know that He would choose such a day as this to show His love to both Chris and you. I will continue to pray that everything goes easy and that all of you have God's protection throughout your travels. What a lucky girl Dasha is to have you as her mother and Chris as her father.
